"Jay Gould - A Life of Contradictions"

Jay Gould was one of the most influential and controversial figures in American business history, a railroad tycoon, financier and speculator who built one of the greatest fortunes of the Gilded Age. But his financial ingenuity and creative rule-flouting also made him one of the most reviled figures in the country by the end of his life.
This new, interesting presentation will deep-dive into the life & legends of railroad baron, far beyond the well-known Jay Gould story. Joanne Stacey, Jefferson's authority on Jay Gould, has visited Gould sites and continues to dialogue with Gould descendants. Gould led a fascinating life - hated by some, loved by others, but always a prominent figure.
