The following proposed Amendment to the Bylaws of the Jefferson Historical Society and Museum, Inc., a Texas Non-Profit Corporation, dated 14 January 2014, were examined and considered by the Museum Board of Directors on September 12, 2025, which Board recommends adoption of the following bylaw change:
Article V, Section 5.19 Director/Officer Disqualification [Criminal Conduct] Under B., under the second paragraph, in sub-paragraph (4), sub-sub paragraph (b), delete the words "Class B Misdemeanor or greater offense" and insert the word "Felony."
